The Dating of the New Testament Books 2
This is a follow-up to Part 1
In 2007 I debated Dr. Robert Harvey on the Da Vinci Code.
In my research, I used the dating of the NT books concluded by Anglican JAT Robinson. It supported my argument for an early development of the NT, before 70 AD.
I asked Robert Sungenis about it...
He says "I would not trust this guy as far as I could throw him. He was thoroughly liberal and didn't even believe in the second coming, which influenced his dating of the NT, as did his belief that all the NT was written before 70 AD. He simply did not understand the NT and its message, and thus his dating was very confused, because he was confused."
Back to the drawing board.
In Gerry's broadcast that I mentioned in the last post, he referenced William Farmer, a former Protestant Biblical Scholar turned Catholic. I found one of his articles, written as a Catholic here.

Sigh.
